Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Anne Gifford is an award winning artist and the eight time poster artist for Colorado's Bolder Boulder 10K Memorial Day Race, one of the largest road races in the United States. She began her career as a silkscreen artist. After 25 years of printmaking, Anne now works with watercolor, building successive layers of color to create her vibrant, rich, and detailed paintings. She has lived in Colorado since 1976 and finds inspiration in the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains. Her paintings, like a pictorial journal, have chronicled her journey thus far. I love your Vanishing Images series. There was a house very much like this outside of Columbus, Texas that my grandmother used to walk past on her way to school. It had been inherited by three unmarried sisters, and when they died it sat empty for years, until it burned down. l/f

Wow! Once again you have totally amazed me, Anne, with first of all with your depiction of this grand old house, and then upon closer inspection the ghost like figures, including the horse and buggy. Only you could have had the sensitivity and skill to create such figures using watercolor. Bravo!
